Thursday Night #9: Core Peer Review 10/31/13
For the costume part of the night, I dressed as Annie Leibovitz. She's known primarily for her portraits. She's done some interesting landscapes as well. Leibovitz mostly wears black and has glasses, so dressing up as her wasn't difficult. We hardly discussed the costumes, though.
One of my partners wasn't present for the blog review, so I got less feedback than expected. The remaining partner, Natasha, discussed the blogs with me. We mostly talked about our work and answered clarifying questions. She introduced me to fantasy photography, which is kind of like high fashion photography but with less of a direct purpose. It's often whimsical and dark. It's an interesting niche of photography I wasn't aware of. I feel like we both put a lot into our work, so I would've liked to have had more of a critique on that.
